Our core philosophy is to "Get Shit Done" (GSD), and if you’re collaborating with us, it’s essential to understand how our workflow operates. Let’s dive into the specifics of how our GSD methodology functions:
The GSD Workflow:
Every project undergoes a structured process that is broken down into five phases of review. This ensures consistency, quality, and timely delivery of each project.
Proposal: This is where all ideas start. Here, you present the problem statement, propose a potential solution, and establish the project's primary objectives.
Prototype: Once the proposal is agreed upon, a prototype is developed. This could be a basic model or wireframe of the solution to provide a clearer picture of the final outcome.
Build: With a prototype in hand, the team gets to work building out the actual product or solution, ensuring all features and functionalities are integrated.
Release: After thorough testing, the project is ready to be launched. This phase signifies the product’s deployment into a live environment.
Results: Once released, it's time to evaluate. We analyze the outcome, measure against our objectives, and determine the project's success.
The OK1 & OK2 Review System:
Within the GSD framework, we employ a two-tiered review system: OK1 and OK2. This system ensures a holistic review from different perspectives.
OK1: The initial review stage. The directors from product, UX, engineering, and occasionally data review the project. Every director must sign off on the project before it progresses.
OK2: The advanced review stage. This is where our Product Owner (PO) steps in. Similar to OK1, the PO, which encompasses experts from product, UX, engineering, and data, reviews the project and must all agree before it proceeds.
Most of the time, reviews are conducted asynchronously, allowing for fluid communication and feedback. However, in instances where a topic is anticipated to be controversial or of high significance, synchronous meetings are organized.
Need Quick Feedback? We've Got You!
We recognize the urgency that some projects or decisions might entail. Therefore, we've instituted an "office-hours" rotation. If you find yourself in need of rapid feedback or a short, 30-minute review, there's a mechanism in place to facilitate this. Just reach out, and we'll ensure someone from the appropriate department assists you.
Our structured, phased approach, combined with our dual-review system, guarantees the highest quality outcomes. When you work with us, rest assured you're in good hands. So, let's GSD together!
